Trail Run

Beginning in the tranquil Bethany Reserve, this run will take you throughout the picturesque landscape of the Barossa Valley and Eden Valley highlands. Following parts of the Heysen Trail through rugged forest tracks before emerging in the vineyards of Eden Valley's high country. 

Suited for all abilities, this run has three distances; 33km, 14km and 7km. 

The three distances will run on various types of ground. All distances will run on bitumen and gravel roads. The 14km and 33km will run on predominately dirt trails.

As you finish, you will be cheered on by attendees of the free Vintage Festival finale event, 'GET BACK ON TRACK'. Located in the historic town of Angaston where you will find a relaxing, family friendly atmosphere and enjoy a range of local food, wine and beer.

33km runners will receive wine packs valued at $50 and a medallion and the 14km runners will receive a bottle of wine to commemorate their amazing efforts.

BUS

A bus will be available to get you from the finish site to the starting site on race day in the morning if you choose to park you car at the finish site.

It is $5, payable on race day CASH ONLY.

Bus will depart from Barossa Adventure Station at 7:30am.

Bib Collection 

33km runners can collect their bibs from the starting site (Bethany Reserve).

14km and 7km runners can collect their bibs from the starting site (Barossa Adventure Station) 

AID Stations 

There will be aid stations at the start and finish line for all three distance. On course aid stations will be located at the following marks for these distances.

33km:

Three aid stations are located at 5.2km, 12.8km and 26.4km marks on the course.

14km:

One aid station is located at the 7km turn around point on the course.

7km:

There are no aid stations on the course.
